CQA - Performance Overview August

In August, the young riders of CANGURU-QTS-Air College Cycling Team once again gave it their best. An overview:



Duarte Marivoet had a successful Triptyque Ardennais on August 2 with a victory in the TT and a second place in the general classification.

That same day, Victor Vaneeckhoutte also did well and won the mountains classification.

The 5th of August, Duarte took the podium again, this time at the PK TT in Malle where he 'flew' at the Bronze Medal at the NATO airport.

The 7th of August, the podium turned orange and blue, because Viggo Vanneste, Victor Vaneeckhoutte and Henri Naessens all took a podium place in the same race in Heestert.

That same day, Wannes Dewulf took the victory in Denderbelle.

Incredible: the golden trio did it again the next day! Another CQA-only stage in Egem with Victor, Viggo and Henri!

The 12th of August, Viggo Vanneste took silver in Dadizele.

Sander Inion took the first podium place in Waregem on August 14th.

Recently, the CQA team welcomed Simen Evertsen-Hegreberg. Last year he became Norwegian champion in his category, this weekend he became 2nd in the first year juniors in Waregem! Talking about a good start!

With a 5th place in the race in Vorselaar on August 15th, Duarte Marivoet remains the leader in the Top Competition. In addition to the yellow one, he also takes the green jersey from the points classification!

That same day, Wannes Dewulf took second place in Herzele.

August 17th Sander Inion managed to claim a podium place again. He came in third in Torhout.

Sander had another appointment with the podium the next day, this time he finished 3rd in the provincial championship of West Flanders in the juniors.

The 21st of August, Wannes Dewulf achieved a beautiful victory in the Grand Prix of Ingelmunster and Sander Inion took a 2nd place!

August 22nd, it was Viggo Vanneste who climbed the podium again. He became 2nd in Edewalle/Kortemark.

That same day, Matthé De Leyn finished third in Woubrechtegem.

Also, on August 22nd, Victor Vanneeckhoutte, with the help of the CQA team, brought home the red jersey during the Ronde Van West Vlaanderen U17!

Despite the fact that Duarte Marivoet felt a bit ill, he still managed to keep his leading position in the Top Competition after the race in Couvin on August 26!
